ComponentsA sling, yoke, swing arm, a lifting mechanism are the main moveable components of the Port-A-Lift Personal Transfer System. Mounts for the lifting mechanism are installed wherever needed. Many mounts can be installed in various areas of a home, or in several vehicles, and a single swing arm and lifting mechanism moved from mount to mount as desired. For extra convenience, some people will prefer to purchase an additional lifting mechanism if using multiple mounts. PowerThe Port-A-Lift Personal Transfer System uses a 12-volt power source. In your home, Port-A-Lift uses a converter connected to a normal household outlet. In your vehicle, Port-A-Lift is powered by your vehicle's battery. MaterialsThe yoke, swing arm and lifting mechanism are made of extruded aluminum for light weight and strength. Mounts are made of high grade steel. The fabric sling is washable and may be tumble-dried. |
